I never thought that I would actually reach the point when I would think of New York City as home...but I have. It feels so good to be back here, even though I actually watched the color of the sky change as we got closer to the city. It went from the brightest blue color to a smoggy, greyish blue. GROSS!! But I love it! Here are a few pictures of us returning and playing a little.
We had a few friends come back from New Hampshire with us. On the left is Curtis, our new roommate for a while. He just moved to the city and will be with us until he finds another place or gets tired of us-whichever comes first. The other two are our friends Brittany and Sean. They are both visiting with us until they go back to their "real" lives. Brittany works with a traveling childrens' theater company and Sean runs a wine bar in the British Virgin Islands. They are really great friends that we have known for years and we are so thankful for them. This is Curtis next to a poster advertising the revival of Godspell coming up, or not-we shall see. The lighting was horrible. Sorry you can't see him...oops.
Now, don't anybody get jealous...but we have other guitar hero friends. This is Scott Guthrie. He worked with us this summer and lives down the street. He and his wife Lindsie had us over for dinner and some board games...and a little guitar hero.
And more Curtis in Times Square. It is the happiest place on earth.
I thought I'd just throw in a few more pictures of what were doing all summer. These are a few pictures of "Anything Goes." It was the next to last show of the season.
That's it for now. Everyone take care and be thankful-for everything!!!
